A short, honest summary of what yo-yo! stores about you.
Your email address, your username and profile details (display name, avatar, bio, country, languages, pronouns, interests), your date of birth for age verification, and the messages you send.
Messages are stored so your conversations persist across devices and so moderators can review reports. Random chats are ephemeral by design and are not intended as a long-term archive.
Your profile is visible to other members. Private messages are visible only to the people in that conversation, and to moderators when a report is filed. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
We use cookies and local storage only to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. No third-party advertising trackers.
You can edit or clear your profile fields at any time, block anyone, and delete your account. Deleting your account removes your profile and your messages, except records we must retain for safety investigations.
Reports and moderation records are retained so repeat behaviour can be identified. Everything else is deleted with your account.
